We recently have to had our garage door serviced after 7 years being in the house we built. We had issues for a few days as the door would only open a few inches and slams back shut. My husband made an appointment over the phone and they came out to fix it. They very courteous and explained to my husband what was wrong, they went over the springs and all the maintenance we should do from now on to keep it working well. Very happy with the service. I called Banko on a Monday around 2:30 pm, they called me back on my way home at 4. I asked if I could have someone come out and check my garage door on Tues, at first the rep said that they were booked and could someone come on Thur? I said we are having a birthday party for my grandson on Saturday, and rep said...you don't have to say another word, we will have someone come out on Tues, when it comes to our customers, we will go out of our way to make sure you get what you need. I was thinking to myself..(Wow)!..Who does that these days, with most companies you are on their schedule, not yours, so this was really nice to hear. The gentleman came out and got there exactly when he said he would be there, no waiting from 3-6, and we will get to you somewhere in between. The gentleman was very nice, he explained everything to me and told me how much it would cost and even went on to fix a bracket that one of my sensors was in that was broken, very rare; but good wholesome company, if anyone should need service for their garage door, I would recommend Banko...I am so happy with my garage door it is so smooth now and open and closes with such ease...

Banko Overhead Doors was excellent. My garage door torsion spring was broken. I called them in the morning at about 7: 45 am and the technician was at the doorstep by 8:15. The technician did the job in 15-20 mins and cleaned up the area. The price was very reasonable. Latter on i got a coupon of $20 off. Then I called the company. The receptionist added that discount with very less questions. Overall the service was excellent.

Easy 5 stars.  The technician was timely and entertained my questions with thorough and thoughtful answers to explain the inner workings of my garage door.  He fixed my problem very quickly and then explained I needed new rollers.  Since I knew I hadn't even lubed the hinges, rollers, etc in nine years....I knew he wasn't trying to sell me anything.  In fact he actually showed me my used roller vs a new one and it was clear I needed new ones.  He explained how the new rollers would decrease the stress on the opener.  He also lubed everything and adjusted the torsion springs.  The end result...obviously my garage door was fixed but now it was also QUIET!  I could barely hear it.  The only problem is...now how am I supposed to know when somebody gets home.

I called these guys one night at 8:30. My garage door was stuck in the down position. Stuck, as in would not move. Both cars were inside. By 10:00 PM their tech had arrived, diagnosed the problem (two broken springs) and completed the repair. For me, it could not have been easier. We have an older home with a garage that used to be a carport. We knew some extra effort would be involved, but it turned out to be even more work than anyone expected. We were very pleased that Banko honored their original quote and did not hit us with any unexpected charges, despite the unexpected added labor that the job required. The serviceman put an enormous effort into replacing the door and framing the opening to bring it up to code. He was there until around 8:30 in the evening (about eight hours total), never taking a break during the job, & saw the difficult job through to completion. Then, even after we told him it wasn’t necessary because of the difficulty of the job, he still cleaned up after himself very well. We are very pleased with the look and functionality of the door, but we are even more pleased with the customer service we have received! We definitely recommend Banko!

The repairman originally quoted me full price to replace to both, but I asked if he could call the office and request a discount; since I was only 3 months out of warranty.  He came back and said they offered to do the other for free. Great Company and Great Service Techs.  I have used Banko Overhead Doors twice now and both times they have been wonderful.  This past time I had a spring break on my garage door.  I thought about replacing it myself because I figured it would take a day or two to get a service tech out to fix it.  My wife called Banko because she knew the dangers in replacing a garage door spring.  Banko had a service tech out in 90 minutes and had the door repaired 30 minutes later.  The Tech was great, professional and very thorough.  He test the door after his repairs and made fine adjustments to make sure it was working properly.  Then before leaving he did a basic service of the entire door, lubricating all the springs and hinge points.  Banko gives a 1 year warranty on labor and a 3 year warranty on the new spring.  The price quoted on the phone was fair and there were no hidden surprises.  Great company and excellent response time.

Satisfied overall. Had 3 estimates done? Chose Banko since they were the only company listed as a certified dealer in the area for Clopay garage doors. Prices and rebates were good. Salesman was fairly new so it was apparent he was still learning. Install was delayed twice with them stating it was due to Clopay's delay. When it was installed there was surprisingly only 1 installer. Our job really needed 2 installers. The installer was nice but I think he ended up calling in for extra help midway through when he realized how much harder and longer our 3 garage doors on an older home were going to take. They were courteous and did an excellent job. Called for service about a week after install. Thought the handles were screwed in too tightly causing the garage door to warp underneath them. The same installer came out and fixed it. The garage doors look wonderful and I would recommend Banko. I actually think two of our neighbors stopped to get their info.

Recently Dec 31, 2012, when my garage door came off the track, I contacted Banko. The rep on the phone was very helpful, and arranged for a service call midday same day, which was fine. In one hr after the call, the serviceman contacted me, and arrived far earlier than expected, which was great, repaired my single garage door, and checked out my other door, servicing both. I had been dragging my feet in getting a couple of new openers but one day I saw that my neighbor was getting their opener serviced and I asked if the service tech could take a look at mine. I was recently having problems with my garage door and called Banko Doors to have someone come out to look at it. The rep on the phone was extremely helpful and scheduled a visit for the very next day. The technician that arrived was on-time and very nice. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem within 10 minutes and showed me the source of the problem. It was pricey ($75) for a very quick/simple fix but you have to pay for the visit and I understand that. Definitely would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent, honest, service people. I have a Sears garage door opener that broke a coupler and I figured the springs need tightened, so I called Sears and they scheduled an appointment and then told me it would cost 79.95 for a service call and the coupler would be 35 dollars and they do not adjust or replace the springs that they had installed. So I went on Facebook and everyone was recommending Banko Overhead doors...and I see why now...they came out tightened the springs replace the coupler and charged me 75 dollars for the call and 8 bucks for the coupler...also lubricated the door so it doesn't squeak.

Great response time - they came out the same day I called. I was quoted $235 over the phone, which was less than any other quote I received for replacing both springs. Quality was excellent along with a very professional repair person. He was running late, but he called to notify me that he was running late due to traffic. I had a great experience with Banko Overhead Doors Inc. I somehow got my garage door ajar and off track and desperately needed it fixed at a minimal cost. Called several companies from craigs list with not much success. Then I happen by a construction site for new home construction and asked the job superintendent who installed their garage doors. I was introduced to Banko, called the same day and made an appointment for a free estimate. I was amazed that the repair tech was able to come out the next day and even more amazed when I received the low quote. I immediately schedule to have the work completed and the same repair tech came out repaired the garage door within an hour and even got my garage door opener to work at no additional cost. The guys did a wonderful job on our garage door and opener. From the sales rep to the installers, everyone was prompt and professional. When one of our door panels was sent with a small hole in it, one of the installers noticed it. The next day, he returned and replaced the panel quickly. I own the Anna Maria Island Inn in Bradenton Beach and recently had 2 estimates from Banko competitors who came and looked at my garage door. I was hoping and expecting that my door, though in bad shape, could simply be fixed instead of replaced. Both competitors said there was no way to fix and MUST be replaced. Both estimates were north of $1100 and both said that the specialty doors would have to be ordered and would take 2+ weeks for installation. Banko was the 3rd estimate I received and the repairman who came did not hesitate in saying it could most certainly be just repaired. The total for his estimate was $350, and he came 2 days later on a Friday and repaired the door. It is now working good and looking good, and I am a very happy customer as I saved appx. $800, not to mention 2+/- weeks’ time.

I unfortunately went to Home Depot for my first garage door opener which lasted all of 2 years. I then contacted Banko to repair it and it broke again in two weeks. I called Banko again to install one of their openers and boy what a difference. The technician arrived on time and was very friendly. I noticed the Banko sticker on the door from the original builder installation 4 years ago. I called them and by the time I got back from work, their serviceman was waiting for me with the new parts.
