This position entails the servicing and/or installing of residential and commercial garage doors and garage door openers. Technical and mechanical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train. The position will also need to be able to educate and recommend solutions to the customer as it relates to garage door and opener upgrades, as at times it is better to replace than to repair. Banko will arm you with the information necessary for that conversation or will send a design consultant when appropriate. Banko is a performance based company and technicians are paid by the piece, so hard work equals top pay. Banko Overhead Door also provides a company vehicle and tools needed to be successful.

Experience and Education:

  • Relevant proven prior experience in a related field of garage door and opener service, construction, framing, HVAC or related field
  • Must have ability to communicate with customer in an up-sell and solution based conversation
  • High School Education
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree would be a plus

  • Ability to troubleshoot and think independently
  • Ability to move or lift 90 plus pounds
  • Ability to read and understand directions and instructions

Outside Sales Representative

Banko Overhead Doors is a leading residential garage door and garage door opener sales and service company, based in West Central Florida. Retail or outside sales experience is a must for this outside sales position, we will train you on the products and services we offer. We will arm you with the information, and tools you’ll need to sell our product to homeowners. West Central Florida offers a large customer base and we as a company are committed to provide resources and marketing to generate leads to assist in the lead generation process and to achieve monthly sales goals.

A highly competitive salary plus commission based compensation and benefits plan including medical, can earn you upwards of $60,000+ annually, with no cap on commissions.

This position is responsible for selling garage doors, garage door openers and breezy living screens to homeowners throughout the West Central Florida marketplace; while providing excellent customer service to past and new customers.


  • High School
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree would be a plus


  • 3 to 5 years proven previous retail or outside sales experience
  • Not required but appreciated, sales experience in the home improvement field
