THE SERVICE TECH WAS EXCELLENT. HE INSTALLED 2 NEW SPRINGS AND WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL IN HIS WORK. I would highly recommend him and the company and would use them again for any garage work needed in the future.

I am a customer for life. We have only had to use Banko a few times but every encounter is a professional one. From scheduling the appointment to repairing our door, they are focused on customer service. The gentleman who replaced our spring today was on time, called ahead and got the job done very efficiently. He answered all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend Banko for all your garage door needs!

I always call Banko Doors for my garage door issues over many years at different properties. They have consistently provided techs who are professional, highly competent, and get the job done right. This property has a newer electronic Liftmaster control that stopped working. A part had gone bad within the 5 year warranty period (actually at 2 years). Dan West diagnosed the issue and had it fixed quickly. He tested the system and all works fine now. If you need a garage door repair, I recommend Banko Doors. You will be pleased with their work.

I never take the time to write reviews but I am writing this one in hopes that someone in management will read it and take steps to fix the customer service issues that I had. I support local companies and have often referred Banko to my friends and clients. However, the ordeal that I just went through to have two glass panels replaced was mind-boggling and unbelievably frustrating. I am giving 2 stars simply because once the repair was done, it was done well…to get it done was a completely different story. It took 2.5 weeks to get the repair done…over 10 phone calls…talked to countless customer service people, all of which said one thing and something else happened. I am happy to give a full timeline of all of my phone calls and misinformation if management would like to contact me. At this point I am still waiting for my PAID invoice to be sent to me…it was supposed to be yesterday…never came…got a bill this morning (even though I already paid)…then I received the paid invoice for a different property which wasn’t mine. Just a tiny example of the frustrations I have endured. I know Banko has a good reputation…I respect service companies and how hard it can be to make customers happy…please review my file or call me so steps can be taken so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I would like Mr. Nick Banko to read this review as today I received a “Thank you” card for calling Banko Doors back out to my residence for the 4th time in 2 1/2 months. In April, my garage door would go from an open position and when we tried to close it, the door would bounce back up and remain open. I called and Banko Doors came out and “adjusted” my door and charged me for the service call. Approximately 2 weeks later, the door began doing the same thing so I again called Banko and the same technician responded and for the cost of $39 replaced a part in the opener. Approximately 2 weeks later, two things happened with the door. First, my wife put the door up and after it cleared her vehicle and the garage opening, she began backing out (I was in the garage next to the car, watching her back out), the door was above the garage door opening, but suddenly reversed itself and came back down on the roof of our vehicle, breaking the antenna at a cost of $260. When the door struck the vehicle roof, it again reversed itself and went back up and stayed up. After my wife got out of the garage, I put the door down and it bounced from the floor back up to the full open position. I called Banko yet again, the same tech responded and he replace the circuit board at a cost of $99 to me. He told me that if this did not fix the issue, he had no idea what else to do and I should just call Banko and tell your company. Well, last night (July 6th), six days after Banko’s latest visit, the door came from the full open position and bounced on the ground and returned to the full open position. I called Banko this morning (July 7) and spoke to a manager named Anthony who is sending out another tech on Monday. My question is Mr. Banko, what about the $239 I have already spent with your company and I still have the same issue? Not to mention $260 repair bill for my vehicle. Am I expected to keep purchasing parts for my garage door opener as your technicians error on what is wrong? To say I am sadly disappointed in your company’s reputation is an understatement. I expect quality service as I am paying for it, and I am not receiving quality service from Banko. This is the last chance I am giving Banko doors. I know I have small claims court options for my money and no service, but I also have several social media sites with which to share my detailed notes and receipts to notify the Wesley Chapel and Lutz communities of my poor service. I look forward to hearing from Mr. Nick Banko.
Thank you,
Joe Ryan

I had a door and opener installed 3 weeks ago. It has a error code and is reversing. I called on July 13 for service and they said they would call me back. I called again on July 14th and was told they would be out on Friday. I was told that because it is within 30 days that a project manager needed to be involved. Whatever that means. I suspect if I needed emergency service and was a “paying” customer I may have received quicker service. I was pleased with the door and initial install, but am very disappointed in service after the fact.

Brett Bielan did a great job repairing my door. I would say he is highly skilled at his job. However, if it weren’t for the emergency need of my garage door repair, I would not have let him onto my property to do his work because of his attitude. He was brief and abrupt in speech and manor. His body language and demeanor seemed almost as if he was attempting to be intimidating or to have some type of altercation with me. In my heart I wanted to confront his lack of guest hospitality and not let him onto my property but I didn’t have time or desire for anything like that. I simply had to take the high road because I needed my garage door fixed in a hurry and in an emergency.
I know we all have bad days that leave us not wanting to be around people. I really tried to let this go but I woke up this morning and I just could not accept this man’s temperament towards me on my property.
I tried to figure out why he would be this way towards me. Perhaps it was because I was following him through the neighborhood in my Jeep because we both arrived at my house at the same time. I wasn’t trying to tailgate him and I wasn’t in any bad mood whatsoever but as soon as I got out of my vehicle and said hello I realized that he was expressing an ill temperament.
I am a post traumatic combat veteran from Iraq that lives alone so this situation with Brett and my garage door being insecure was very difficult for me. Hopefully there is some customer service training for your repairmen that encourages friendliness so that everyone can understand each other and at lest be hospitable.
I was referred to Banko doors from my mother but if this man were to act this way at my mothers house I would be very uncomfortable and I’m sure she would be too.

I was quoted a different price over the phone when the appointment was made. I was quoted $250 for 2 springs and the technician charged $355.

Servicemen fine.
Phone arrangements–not so much.
