How to Connect myQ to Your Mitsubishi
Connecting your Mitsubishi and myQ Connected Garage service is pretty simple. To start, download the two relevant smartphone applications — the myQ app and My Mitsubishi Connect®. Next, you can sign in to each app or create accounts if you are new.
With the myQ and My Mitsubishi Connect apps available on your smartphone, open the myQ app and select the Services tab. Within Services, navigate to the myQ Connected Garage. The app will pull up a few options to complete a connection between your phone and the garage door opener.
Next, turn on your Mitsubishi vehicle and connect your phone using Android Auto™ or Wireless Apple CarPlay®. By connecting your phone to the car, you can open applications like myQ Connected Garage from your car’s display screen. Select the myQ icon to view various garage door functions and settings.
myQ Connected Garage’s Capabilities
Merging myQ Connected Garage with your My Mitsubishi Connect app will give you access to numerous controls, monitoring tools and settings. You can use your car’s display screen to:
- Open and close the door: Tap an icon on your display screen to open and close your garage door on command, even when you’re far from home.
- Program automatic controls: Automate your garage door opener so that it opens or closes when you enter or leave the virtual Geofence surrounding your property.
- Monitor the door’s status: Check that your garage door is closed with real-time status updates.
